New E-Cycling Adventure Across Arctic Circle Launched by Slow Cyclist

The Slow Cyclist company has unveiled a six-night adventure in Norway's Vesteralen islands, inviting travelers to explore stunning landscapes and engage in outdoor experiences.

The Slow Cyclist, recognized for remarkable small group e-cycling and walking experiences, has announced a new six-night journey through Norway’s Vesteralen islands, set to commence in the summer of 2026. This marks the company’s inaugural venture into Scandinavia, allowing adventurers to discover the captivating landscapes and unique wildlife of the Arctic Circle.

Founder Oli Broom expressed enthusiasm about this new initiative, stating, “This is our first journey to Scandinavia and it’s a special one in Norway, one of the most beautiful countries on earth.” The itinerary encourages participants to embrace friluftsliv, the Norwegian philosophy of enjoying outdoor experiences no matter the weather, with accommodations from transformed fishing warehouses to quaint rural guest houses.

Beginning in Andøya, participants will enjoy white sand beaches, traditional fishing towns, and diverse wildlife, including whales and puffins. Cyclists will navigate breathtaking routes and immerse themselves in local culture, with key stops like a Sami culture center. The adventure wraps up with a thrilling sea eagle safari and a cycle across Hadseløya, the smallest island, concluding with a dinner in Storkmarknes.

Packages start at $5,600 (£4,595) per person, including accommodation, meals, activities, and e-bike rentals. A portion of the proceeds will contribute to local charitable causes, as The Slow Cyclist aims to foster enriching travel experiences while uplifting local communities.
