Etihad and Condor Introduce New Routes to Abu Dhabi
Etihad Airways partners with Condor to offer new daily flights from Frankfurt and Berlin to Abu Dhabi starting in Summer 2026, enhancing travel connectivity between Germany and the UAE.
Etihad Airways and German airline Condor have announced a strategic partnership, unveiling new daily flights from Frankfurt and Berlin to Abu Dhabi starting in Summer 2026. This collaboration includes a comprehensive codeshare agreement, enhancing direct access to Abu Dhabi from Germany.
From 1 May 2026, Condor will operate daily flights between Frankfurt and Abu Dhabi using Airbus A330 aircraft, with Berlin-Abu Dhabi services commencing on 15 June 2026 via Airbus A320. This expansion aims to meet the growing demand from German travellers and provide seamless connections to Etihad’s extensive network across the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Australia.
Arik De, Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer of Etihad Airways, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “Germany is a vital market for Etihad, and adding Berlin alongside new Frankfurt options meets clear passenger demand.”
Jens Boyd, Commercial Director of Condor, highlighted the codeshare agreement as a foundation for connecting Germany’s capital and Europe’s financial hub to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region and beyond.
The partnership supports Abu Dhabi’s tourism sector and economic ambitions by increasing visitor access. Etihad Guest members will also benefit from earning and redeeming miles on Condor-operated flights. The codeshare agreement awaits regulatory approvals, with further details to be announced.
Tickets for the new routes are now available for booking on etihad.com and condor.com.
