Flights Between Uzbekistan and Goa Resume, Enhancing Global Connectivity
The resumption of direct flights from Uzbekistan marks a new chapter in Goa's international connectivity.
With the recommencement of direct flights from Uzbekistan, Goa underlines its rising status as a favored international destination. The flight that touched down on December 3 exemplifies a renewed link between the two regions.
The Aircraft Type A-320 landed at Manohar International Airport, Mopa from Tashkent at 12:49 hrs, carrying 121 passengers.
Minister for Tourism, Rohan A. Khaunte, emphasized that this reconnection enhances Goa’s global reach and paves the way for expanding into new markets. He noted, “This renewed link opens fresh opportunities for travel and engagement between our destinations making travel between our regions even more seamless.”
Kedar Naik, Director of Tourism, highlighted the new connection’s reflection of global partners’ confidence in Goa’s tourism potential, enhancing visitors’ access to the region’s rich culture and festivals.
The resumption of services not only facilitates easier travel for Uzbek visitors but also strengthens avenues for cultural exchange, leisure travel, and future collaborations in tourism. Goa’s ongoing efforts to broaden its global presence align with this revitalized connectivity.
