Ascott Introduces Asia's Premier Chelsea-Themed Hotel Suites

The launch in Jakarta celebrated Chelsea's famed culture with iconic experiences led by club legend Gary Cahill.

Over 250 Chelsea enthusiasts and Ascott Star Rewards members gathered last night at HW Livehouse to enjoy a live screening of the Chelsea versus Arsenal match, part of The Famous CFC presented by Ascott in Jakarta. The event attracted over 400 fans for unique experiences, including meetings with Gary Cahill and attending the Chelsea vs Arsenal watch party.

The Ascott Limited, a recognized partner of Chelsea Football Club, unveiled Asia’s first Chelsea-themed hotel suites at Ascott Sudirman Jakarta and Citadines Sudirman Jakarta in Indonesia as part of The Famous CFC Jakarta, the third edition of Chelsea’s international fan engagement event.

The grand unveiling was handled by Gary Cahill, a cherished club legend and former captain of Chelsea. The two-day festivities, held on November 29 and 30, featured various activities including chat sessions, fan meet-and-greets, pre-match celebrations, and the Chelsea vs Arsenal watch party.

The Famous CFC is an initiative by Chelsea to enhance their connection with supporters globally while collaborating with brands and partners. As a flagship event for Ascott’s second season as Chelsea’s Official Hotels Partner, the Jakarta edition showcased this ongoing collaboration’s strength.

Gary Cahill commented, “It’s amazing to witness Chelsea’s global fan family grow, and Indonesia certainly displays some of the most passionate Blues supporters. Experiencing Ascott bringing the essence of the club to life here in Jakarta is truly special. The Chelsea-themed suites are an incredible way for supporters to feel a closer connection to the club, even when distant from Stamford Bridge.”

Dan McEwan expressed satisfaction with the turnout, highlighting the enthusiasm from both Chelsea supporters and the Ascott community, reflecting their strong partnership commitment. The Chelsea-themed hotel suites developed with Ascott provide fans with a unique taste of the club and Stamford Bridge, enhancing the partnership’s life beyond football.

With plans for the launch of lyf Chelsea London in 2026, they aim to embody the spirit of Chelsea alongside the vibrant energy of Stamford Bridge, creating a lively social experience that celebrates the club’s passion.
