Qatar Airways, as the Official Airline Partner of Formula 1®, has reinforced its commitment to diversity through a renewed partnership with BWT Alpine Formula One Team. This partnership places Carmen Jorda at the helm, where she will play an integral role as the Head of the Alpine F1 Academy and a representative of Qatar Airways, promoting female involvement in motorsport and bridging aviation and Formula 1®.

Jorda, a former development driver for Lotus and Renault and the 11th woman to be associated with an F1® team, will represent Qatar Airways at major Grand Prix events and lead initiatives aimed at mentoring female drivers. Her agenda includes engaging with communities and introducing media initiatives that emphasize empowerment and excellence in both aviation and motorsport.

Continuing from a successful collaboration that started in 2023, the partnership engages Formula 1® fans and travelers through co-branded experiences and branding opportunities.
