Regal Hotels Lends Support to Hong Kong Fire Victims

Regal Hotels is offering free accommodation and support for those affected by a recent fire in Hong Kong.

Regal Hotels International is stepping in to aid individuals impacted by the devastating fire at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po, Hong Kong. In a statement released on November 28, the company expressed heartfelt sympathy for all those affected, saying: “Our hearts go out to everyone impacted by the recent fire in Tai Po. At Regal Hotels International, we sincerely pledge to extend our support and assistance to offer comfort during this challenging time.”

To assist those affected, Regal is providing 160 complimentary guest rooms across various locations in Hong Kong for two weeks, along with full board. The accommodations will include accessible and pet-friendly options for those in urgent need of housing.

Additionally, the Regal Riverside Hotel in Shatin plans to offer free dining services and has opened its Study Hub as a communal space supporting residents, especially students.

In partnership with the Bodhi Love Foundation (BLF), Regal will also reach out to local primary schools and kindergartens, offering emergency aid of HK$2,000 for each child to help parents purchase essential educational supplies. Starting next week, the BLF will conduct a six-week mindfulness training course at Regal Riverside Hotel, aimed at uplifting the emotional well-being of both parents and children during this difficult time.

The statement concluded with a call for unity: “Together, we hope to alleviate the burdens faced by those affected by this tragedy. Let us unite in love and care as we navigate this trying period.”
