
The Goa Tourism pavilion at the Qatar Travel Mart (QTM) 2025 was inaugurated today by Vipul, IFS, the Indian Ambassador to Qatar, along with dignitaries including Rohan A. Khaunte, Minister for Tourism, Kedar Naik, Director of Tourism, and others. This inauguration marks a significant step for Goa at a key tourism platform.
Rohan A. Khaunte stated: “Goa has entered a phase of purposeful tourism transformation where sustainability, community benefit, and experience-driven offerings guide every initiative. Our participation at QTM 2025 strengthens our outreach in one of our key international markets and allows us to present a diverse, future-ready Goa.”
During the opening, Kedar Naik remarked that QTM 2025 provides an important platform to showcase Goa’s expanding service portfolio and the new experiences available for international travelers.
Throughout the day, the pavilion saw engagement from travel trade professionals, international stakeholders, media, and industry buyers, who explored Goa’s new visitor experiences. The state’s commitment to sustainable tourism was evident in the discussions surrounding its recent infrastructure upgrades and digital tourism solutions.
