Delta and Uber Enhance Collaboration to Revolutionize Travel Experience

New drop-off initiatives at LaGuardia airport elevate convenience for passengers.

Delta and Uber are providing new channels for Members to earn and travel seamlessly, introducing a pilot program at LaGuardia Airport (LGA) to enhance the airport drop-off process just in time for the holidays.

Since their partnership began in April, Delta and Uber have consistently brought significant benefits to SkyMiles Members. Initially announced at CES 2025, this collaboration redefines travel loyalty by blending it with lifestyle and technology to foster a more interconnected experience.

From road to runway, reaching your destination has become more rewarding. Starting this week, SkyMiles Members can link their accounts on delta.com/uber to earn miles on eligible rides and orders automatically.

Reimagining Airport Drop-Off at LGA

The newly launched pilot at LGA aims to enhance customer service while alleviating congestion. Passengers can select the “Express Drop Off, Checked-In” option, allowing them to be dropped off at an area on the outer curb, where they will receive curbside hospitality, navigational assistance, and a direct route to security, complemented by temporary giveaways. This initiative is designed to reroute traffic into less crowded zones, facilitating smoother flow for travelers.

“This pilot exemplifies how we leverage partnerships to address genuine customer challenges and enhance their experience,” stated Joshua Kaehler, Managing Director of Loyalty Partnerships at Delta. “We are reimagining the entire travel experience, prioritizing choice, convenience, and hospitality, reflecting the values of both Delta and Uber.”
