During the TDM Global Summit Singapore 2025 held at the InterContinental Singapore, on Monday, 24th November 2025, Navodit Srivastava, hospitality cloud leader for Asia Pacific at CVent, discussed the significant impact of AI on the MICE industry. Srivastava projected that the MICE sector is evolving into a $1.5 trillion industry, with a consistent annual growth rate of 8% to 10%.

“76% of planners are Gen Z or Millennials. This generation demands a digital-first approach, valuing speed and transparency. They favor self-service options and quick responses, and AI fulfills these requirements perfectly. Failing to adapt means becoming irrelevant.”

A recent report indicated that 76% of hotel executives acknowledge AI’s transformative potential, with 79% already observing positive changes in business operations due to AI adoption.
