Crystal has unveiled its newest vessel, Crystal Grace, marking its first ocean new build in 25 years with the Abercrombie & Kent Travel Group (AKTG). Scheduled for delivery in May 2028, Crystal Grace will embark on her inaugural voyage on June 11, 2028, following a series of preview sailings.
The ship symbolizes a significant evolution of Crystal’s esteemed heritage, merging innovation, sophistication, and timeless style, indicating the next phase in Crystal’s mission to redefine luxury at sea.
As part of the promotional campaign, Crystal launched a digital word game via social media encouraging fans to guess the ship’s name pre-reveal.
On land, Abercrombie & Kent will offer a variety of exceptional land experiences and events globally, bolstered by its network of integrated DMCs, making Crystal the sole cruise line with such capabilities.
A Meaningful Name
AKTG’s CEO, Cristina Levis, noted that Crystal Grace is not just a name but a commitment. “It reflects the effortless elegance, generous spirit, and tranquility that define the Crystal experience. Crystal Grace embodies the reasons we were named the World’s Best Cruise Line by Travel + Leisure, offering superior food, service, space, entertainment, and shore experiences. With this ship, we honor our past while evolving for a new generation of guests.”
The name Grace was selected to encapsulate the ship’s refined style, seamless onboard experience, and the graceful navigation of Crystal ships through the world’s most stunning destinations. This 650-passenger ship (based on double occupancy) will provide spacious all-suite accommodations, entertainment, and exceptional dining options, including the exclusive Nobu restaurant at sea.
Guests can expect a promenade adorning the entire ship’s perimeter for breathtaking ocean views and one of the highest crew-to-passenger ratios, ensuring outstanding personalized service that has earned Crystal recognition for over three decades.
Details regarding the suite categories will be revealed in December, along with news about the inaugural voyages, design features, and new onboard offerings to be disclosed soon.
