AACO, SITA, and Amadeus have partnered to leverage technology and data for enhancing accuracy and transparency in sustainability within aviation. This joint initiative is a critical stride in empowering airlines and passengers to make informed decisions regarding the environmental consequences of air travel, and it fosters trust essential for effective climate action.

Recognizing the significant challenges, two leading technology providers in aviation are collaborating. The partnership combines SITA Eco Mission, which utilizes actual aircraft performance and operational data to generate precise emissions and fuel-burn calculations, with Amadeus Travel Impact Suite, which harmonizes carbon emissions calculations from an array of acknowledged sources and standards. The aim is to create an ecosystem that offers comprehensive emissions data, enabling travelers to make better choices. Their vision is to showcase how precise information can assist in sustainable travel decision-making and facilitate actions such as carbon offsetting.
