
Etihad Airways Begins Service to Medina
Etihad Airways expands its network in Saudi Arabia with flights connecting Abu Dhabi and Medina, enhancing travel for business and religious purposes.
Etihad Airways has initiated its flight services between Abu Dhabi and Medina, enhancing its operations in Saudi Arabia. This new route aims to cater to religious travelers, business travelers, and tourists alike. With this launch, Etihad’s network in the Kingdom will expand significantly, operating 93 flights weekly to various destinations within Saudi Arabia.
Antonoaldo Neves, the Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Airways, shared:
“The launch of Medina reflects our commitment to strengthening connectivity from Abu Dhabi to Saudi Arabia, one of our most important markets. Medina carries profound cultural and spiritual significance for millions of people, and we are honoured to provide convenient travel to this culturally and spiritually important city.”
The airline will operate five flights a week using Airbus A321 aircraft, increasing the frequency later. Travelers will also benefit from a complimentary Abu Dhabi Stopover, making it easier to explore the UAE’s capital before continuing their journeys.
