Accelerating Expansion in Asia-Pacific
Meliá Hotels International is accelerating its luxury presence across Asia with strategic openings starting next month. The inaugural Paradisus by Meliá Bali will be followed by multiple developments designed to enhance the company’s portfolio in high-demand locations.
Key Highlights:
-
Paradisus by Meliá Bali: This marks Meliá’s first all-inclusive luxury resort in the region, integrating their Destination Inclusive® concept. Guests will experience Balinese culture, nature, and wellness activities beyond the resort’s amenities.
-
Upcoming Openings:
- Meliá Serenity Cam Ranh Beach Resort: Launching in Q2-2026, this resort focuses on personalized well-being for families and couples, featuring spacious villas and top-tier amenities.
- Meliá Aurea Nha Trang: Set to enhance beachfront luxury beside the renowned Villa Le Corail Gran Meliá.
- Transformations in Laos and Maldives: Including a rebranding under The Meliá Collection for a current property in Laos and the introduction of Meliá Amilla Fushi in the Maldives, scheduled for 2026.
According to Ignacio Martin, “Luxury travel in Asia is evolving rapidly. It’s no longer defined by exclusivity but by meaningful connection and sense of place.”
With one in three global Meliá openings being situated in the luxury segment, this expansion not only enlarges their footprint but also redefines luxury to be more authentic and connected to local experiences.
