The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) highlighted its role as a leader in promoting inclusive and sustainable tourism at the recent World Travel Market (WTM) in London 2025. Chiravadee Khunsub, TAT’s deputy governor for international marketing in Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, and Africa, represented Thailand as a featured speaker during the Destinations With Heart summit on November 5.
During her address, Khunsub emphasized Thailand’s enduring cultural principles of openness and kindness, showcasing how inclusion is an integral part of the Thai lifestyle and tourism agenda. She pointed out that TAT’s global initiative, Go Thai Be Free, is setting standards for inclusive tourism in Thailand by nurturing welcoming environments, engaging authentically with locals, and ensuring meaningful experiences for all visitors.
The discussion celebrated the nation’s dedication to people-centered and sustainable tourism, reinforcing its position as a destination where visitors can feel recognized, safe, and free to express themselves. The panel also included tourism leaders from Iceland, Malta, and the United Kingdom who shared their insights into inclusion and social sustainability in travel.
