TAP Air Portugal Launches New Route to Curitiba
TAP Air Portugal announces the launch of a new route that will connect Lisbon to Curitiba, capital of Paraná, Brazil, starting from July 2, 2026.
The airline will operate three weekly flights using the A330-200 aircraft, accommodating 269 passengers. The route will include stops at Afonso Pena International Airport in Curitiba and connections to Rio de Janeiro. Sales are set to commence on November 11th.
“TAP’s new route reinforces Paraná’s role on the global stage,” said Ratinho Junior, the Governor of Paraná. “This direct connection with Portugal will boost tourism and expand business opportunities with Europe.”
Carlos Antunes, TAP’s Director for the Americas, stated: “Brazil is a strategic market of enormous relevance for our global operation. The new route enhances our presence in the country, which already boasts multiple connections between Brazilian capitals and European cities.”
With the addition of this route, TAP now serves 14 cities in Brazil, solidifying its position as a leading European airline in connecting to the country.
