Shanghai Sinoexpo Informa Markets International Exhibition Co Ltd announced that pre-registration is now open for the 29th China International Boat Show (CIBS).
Scheduled for March 29 to 31, 2026, this event will be hosted alongside the Shanghai International Workboat Show at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Centre. The collaborative event will offer more than 80,000 square meters of exhibition space, featuring over 50,000 domestic and international visitors, and showcasing over 1,000 brands with more than 150 engaging activities.
A global showcase
In 2026, expect significant collaboration with international partners. CIBS will partner with the French Nautical Industries Federation (FIN) to create a platform for cooperation in the shipbuilding sector and enhance ties between Chinese and French companies. Additionally, British brands under the Royal Yachting Association will debut at the show, focusing on small sailing and windsurfing boats.
Expect CIBS 2026 to also collaborate with the International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA) for several seminars on-site.
Coming in 2026
The goal of CIBS 2026 is to establish a comprehensive exhibition ecosystem centered on new technologies and equipment, with professional forums and hands-on experience activities. The event will also host the 2026 China International Forum on Boat Industry Development, along with the Seminar on Green Technology and Sustainable Development of Boats and Yachts.
Outdoor activities such as the Water Sports Carnival will allow buyers and the general public to witness live demonstrations of boats and equipment in action. The Asia Marine and Boating Awards 2026 will attract distinguished guests to Shanghai, while concurrent exhibitions will feature a variety of vibrant on-site programs to create engaging experiences for both B2B and B2C attendees.
