A total of 9 Emirates World stores have been launched already, reflecting the airline’s strategy to redefine its retail vision for the future.
Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, has inaugurated its latest Emirates World retail store in Riyadh, introducing an immersive experience-led travel retail concept to the Kingdom. Located in central Riyadh, this new 288m² store is designed to welcome customers into a lounge-inspired space to plan their next journey, receive expert travel advice, and explore Emirates’ signature products through interactive displays.
The store was inaugurated by Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, alongside Sheikh Majid Al Mualla, Emirates’ Divisional Senior Vice President of International Affairs, and Adil Al Ghaith, Senior Vice President Commercial Operations, Centre, in the presence of His Excellency Matar Salem Al Dhaheri, UAE Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, and Ali Rajab, Executive Vice President of Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA). The opening ceremony was attended by trade partners and government representatives.
Adnan Kazim stated, “Saudi Arabia is one of Emirates’ most important markets, and Emirates World in Riyadh reflects our commitment to the Kingdom. This flagship store transforms how customers experience our brand, offering personalized service, a seamless booking process, and travel solutions tailored around their needs.”
The Emirates World concept redefines the traditional airline retail experience by combining personalized service with innovative, interactive technologies. Visitors can explore Emirates’ signature onboard products, including the iconic A380 Onboard Lounge and the luxurious First-Class suite, and enjoy one-on-one consultations with Emirates’ travel experts for itinerary planning, ticketing, and general queries. The consultants are cross-trained, enabling a one-stop shop that includes airline ticketing, Emirates Holidays, and Skywards support.
Additional interactive features include a ‘selfie mirror’ for capturing moments against scenic destination backdrops and self-service kiosks for faster service.
With over three decades of service in the Kingdom, Emirates operates 74 weekly flights between Dubai and its Saudi gateways: Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, and Medina, connecting travelers to over 150 Emirates’ global destinations through a seamless stopover in Dubai. The airline has continually invested in expanding capacity and enhancing travel experiences for Saudi customers, deploying its latest aircraft on select routes.
