Adjustments in Thailand's Event Schedule Following the Queen Mother's Passing
The Tourism Authority of Thailand has modified various event schedules to commemorate the late Queen Sirikit.
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has recently announced several adjustments to the event schedules and formats throughout this month in tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother.
Following the Royal Household Bureau’s announcement on October 24th regarding the passing of Her Majesty, TAT has reviewed all scheduled events in October and November. As a result, certain events have been postponed, some formats adjusted, and select festive activities replaced with cultural and religious observances that reflect a tone of remembrance and reverence.
All changes align with the solemn nature of the ongoing national mourning period.
