Türkiye Commemorates Its 102nd National Day with a Magnificent Reception in India

A grand reception was held in New Delhi to celebrate Türkiye's National Day, attended by prominent guests and showcasing the nation's culture.

The Republic of Türkiye celebrated its 102nd National Day with a prestigious reception hosted by H.E. Mr. Ali Murat Ersoy, the Ambassador of Türkiye to India, along with Mrs. Fazilet Ersoy, at their residence in New Delhi on 29 October 2025. The event was a celebration of Türkiye’s establishment as a republic, reflecting its historical significance and cultural richness.

Around 500 guests attended the evening, which included over 50 Chiefs of Diplomatic Missions, Indian business leaders, and cultural representatives. Guests were welcomed by Mr. Ersoy and his wife, creating an inviting atmosphere that highlighted the warm relations between Türkiye and India.

The festivities began with the national anthems of both countries, followed by a message from the President of Türkiye, emphasizing the prospects for deeper cooperation between the two nations.

In his speech, Ali Murat Ersoy remarked, “The potential of the relationship far outweighs the current level of engagement. We must and will continue to work on it. Furthermore, as key players in our respective regions, we can work together to promote connectivity, stability, and peace. By aligning our efforts on global issues, we can amplify our voices and contribute to a more secure and sustainable world.”

The event also featured a raffle with prizes including flight tickets and travel packages, adding a festive spirit to the evening. Guests enjoyed an immersive experience into Turkish culture, with soothing Turkish music and a sumptuous spread of traditional dishes, such as kebap, döner, and baklava, meticulously prepared by Turkish culinary experts, showcasing the diversity of Turkish cuisine.
