Global hospitality management firm Accor is strategically growing in Asia with a robust lineup of regional hotel signings and openings for the year.

With over 230 hotels in the pipeline, representing nearly 60,000 keys, Accor is seizing expansion opportunities in both established and emerging markets.

Strategic Development in Asia

Accor is firmly embedded in Asia, and this region is pivotal to the Group’s growth plans. According to Andrew Langdon, Accor’s Chief Development Officer in Asia, “We expect another record year of signings, marking an impressive third consecutive year of growth for Accor in Asia. Our 2025 momentum reflects the resilience of the travel and hospitality sectors in Asia and the shifting market dynamics that are creating opportunities. By leveraging our diverse brand portfolio and enhancing partnerships with owners, we are well-positioned to lead the future of hospitality in the region. Our strategy focuses on delivering brands that resonate with modern travelers, creating long-term value for our partners, and establishing new standards for innovation and excellence throughout Asia.”

Growth in Diverse Brands

The expansion includes ongoing enhancement of its brand offerings, aligned with evolving travel, work, and lifestyle preferences. Growth is particularly evident in Accor’s premium, midscale, and economy brands, which remain a key focus of their expansion strategy across Asia, reflecting the diverse demands and changing travel trends in the region.

Significant Hotel Signings in 2025 Key signings for the year highlight Accor’s expansion, with Indonesia leading the way. Exciting projects include:

  • Swissôtel Bali Nusa Dua
  • Mercure’s debut in Phuket and Handwritten Collection in Bangkok
  • New ibis hotels in Vietnam and the Philippines as demand rises

In 2025, Japan and Vietnam are set for significant launches, including the largest Mövenpick in Danang and a co-branded Mercure in Hiroshima.

Lifestyle and Luxury Growth Accor continues to expand into the lifestyle sector with ground-breaking projects such as the first Rixos all-inclusive resort in Asia, destined for Vietnam’s Hon Thom Island, and new luxury offerings, including Mondrian Maldives and Sofitel Sapa Hotel & Residences.

New Openings Make Their Mark

In 2025, Accor also plans several notable openings, including:

  • Pullman Hai Phong Grand Hotel and Pullman Ambassador Seoul Eastpole, enhancing the Pullman brand experience
  • The introduction of Swissôtel Living Jakarta Mega Kuningan
  • TRIBE Phuket Patong and Novotel New Delhi City Centre, both set to redefine hospitality in their regions.

Accor is poised to launch additional exciting hotels, ensuring a robust footprint in Asia’s hospitality sector.
