Carlton City Hotel Singapore has announced the return of Douglas Glen as its new General Manager on October 23. Glen previously managed the hotel during challenging times of the pandemic, gaining recognition for his leadership and resilience.

Prior to this appointment, he has held prestigious positions in various renowned hospitality groups.
His return marks an exciting chapter for the hotel, which aims to maintain its reputation for service excellence and innovation.

Glen stated:

In his role, Glen will supervise all operational and financial aspects at the 386-key upscale business hotel, focusing on strategic growth while upholding the high standards of hospitality excellence that guests expect. He possesses over 30 years of distinguished hospitality experience, having worked with top properties such as The Regent Hotel Group and The Royal Cliff Hotels Group. Glen hails from Scotland, where he began his hospitality career in London after completing his studies in Hotel and Catering. His journey includes stints at various iconic establishments, culminating in senior roles that significantly expanded profitability and brand influence.
