Chapman Freeborn ushers in a new era with Saska Gerasimova as its Group CEO, succeeding Eric Erbacher.

Global air charter expert Chapman Freeborn begins a new chapter with the recent appointment of Saska Gerasimova as its new Group CEO.

Gerasimova officially assumes her position today, on October 20th, succeeding Eric Erbacher, who transitions to the role of chair of the Chapman Freeborn Holdings Board of Directors.

In her new role, Saska will have the support of an experienced Executive Committee. This leadership change indicates a major shift for Chapman Freeborn, highlighting the company’s commitment to strategic clarity and global reach.

Stepping into Transformation
This transition denotes a significant moment for Chapman Freeborn, as it signals a commitment to revitalization and bold strategic direction. Bernardo Nunes, the group chief operations officer, will play a crucial role in facilitating a seamless transition.

Through appointing a new CEO, the firm aims to foster fresh ideas, empower its workforce, and reinforce its long-term strategy, ensuring it remains responsive and customer-centric in the aviation sector.

Meet Saska Gerasimova
Saska brings extensive experience in aviation leasing, air freight, logistics, and fleet management. Before joining Chapman Freeborn, she served as the senior supply chain manager for Amazon Air Europe and has previously held positions as fleet director and leasing manager at Smartwings Group.

Saska expressed her eagerness to support Chapman Freeborn’s team, aligning their offerings with client needs. She stated, “Chapman Freeborn has a well-defined long-term strategy centered around our 2030 plan.
