Dubai Airports Commits to Make DXB the Most Accessible Airport by 2035

Dubai Airports has unveiled a new 10-year plan to enhance accessibility at both DXB and DWC, aiming to set a global benchmark for inclusive travel.

Dubai Airports has announced an ambitious plan to transform both Dubai International (DXB) and Dubai World CentralAl Maktoum International (DWC) into the world’s most accessible and inclusive airports by 2035. The strategy aims to enhance guest experiences and aligns with the UAE’s commitment to the People of Determination (PoD) rights and Dubai’s vision of a friendly city for individuals with disabilities.

Majed Al Joker, the Chief Operating Officer at Dubai Airports, emphasizes that this initiative is a core aspect of delivering an exceptional travel experience for all guests. They will work with stakeholders and directly engage with the PoD community.

The effort involves multiple partners, including Emirates and flydubai, to ensure that guests have a seamless journey.

For those with diverse needs, Dubai Airports provides services like a Travel Planner, Sunflower Lanyard, priority lanes, wheelchair services, and a sensory-friendly lounge in Terminal 2.
