DIGITRIPS has appointed Vicki Wickens as Vice President of International Growth to lead its expansion across Europe.
DIGITRIPS, a travel distribution solutions provider based in France, has announced its ambitious plan to expand across Europe with the recent hire of Vicki Wickens as Vice President of International Growth. Wickens brings a wealth of knowledge from her previous leadership roles at Gimmonix, Sabre, and Expedia Group.
DIGITRIPS aims to establish a significant presence in key European markets by leveraging its modular travel technology solutions. Following its success as France’s leading B2B and B2B2C platform—having processed over 5 million bookings since its inception a decade ago—and recent achievements in Benelux and Italy, the company intends to broaden its reach further.
With a portfolio that includes 1.2 million hotels, flights from over 500 airlines, transfers, dynamic packages, and a variety of value-added services, DIGITRIPS positions itself to scale effectively across Europe.
Nicolas Brumelot, co-founder of DIGITRIPS, expressed enthusiasm about Wickens’s appointment, stating, “We are delighted to welcome Vicki to our leadership team as we strive to expand. She brings extensive experience in sales and business development and a strong understanding of our values, which will strengthen our client relationships and accelerate our growth trajectory.”
Wickens shared her excitement about this opportunity, saying, “Joining DIGITRIPS at the onset of its European expansion is a unique opportunity. I am eager to utilize my customer engagement and commercial leadership skills to contribute to our success in new markets.”
Wickens officially began her role on October 1st and is currently focused on developing international expansion strategies and partnerships.
