Warwick Davis, known for his role as Professor Flitwick in the Harry Potter films, inaugurated the first-ever Creative Careers Fair at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London. This fair was designed to inspire secondary school students by presenting various behind-the-scenes roles in the film industry.
Set in the famous Great Hall, hundreds of students participated in events that featured leading film professionals who shared their knowledge of specific roles from prop making to sound engineering.
Warwick Davis expressed, “For the film industry to prosper, it’s really important that young people have access to creative careers education so they can understand what roles are open to them. Many of those I spoke to today hadn’t realized the number of people it took to bring my characters to life on these very sets, but after the Careers Fair, a world of possibilities has opened up.”
Many students attending voiced their excitement, noting the extensive opportunities in the film sector.
