2025 Open of Spain at Real Guadalhorce Golf Club: A Star-Studded Amateur Lineup

The Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España presented by Oysho will take place from November 27 to 30, featuring top amateur golfers vying for the prestigious Celia Barquín Award.

The Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España presented by Oysho, set from November 27 to 30 at the Real Guadalhorce Golf Club in Málaga, will feature a stellar lineup of amateur golfers competing for the Celia Barquín Award.

This year, the tournament invites a luxury trio of amateurs, including Paula Martín, currently ranked 2nd in the World Amateur Golf Ranking, along with Andrea Revuelta (3rd) and reigning Spanish Amateur Champion Adriana García Terol.

Paula Martín

Paula arrives in Málaga after an exceptional season where she clinched the The Women’s Amateur title and the European Ladies’ Amateur championship in 2025, plus she was awarded Best Amateur at the AIG Women’s Open with an impressive eighth-place finish. Previously, she participated in the Spanish Open, finishing 19th in 2022 and 48th in 2024.

Andrea Revuelta

Andrea Revuelta stands out as a key player in emerging Spanish golf. She finished 5th at Guadalhorce in 2024 and was the best amateur at the Celia Barquín Award, accomplishing a 7th place in her initial competition. In 2025, she excelled during her university season at Stanford with a highlight victory at the ACC Championship and a commendable 4th place at the Augusta National Women’s Amateur, along with a 3rd position at the European Ladies’ Amateur.

Adriana García Terol

Adriana, the 2025 Spanish Absoluto Champion, cultivated an outstanding record throughout the year, securing several national titles, including the sub-16 Spanish championship. Her competitive journey positions her as a strong contender at Guadalhorce.

The Celia Barquín Award, established in 2022, honors the tournament’s leading amateur and sustains the legacy of the Cantabrian golfer, showcasing Spanish talent at this significant LET finale. With Martín, Revuelta, and García Terol set to compete, the Open promises a high-level showdown for this prestigious award, positioning Málaga, Andalucía, and the Costa del Sol in the global golfing spotlight once again.
