A Novel Golfing Experience in Saudi Arabia

Red Sea Global (RSG) has proudly announced the opening of Shura Links, marking the debut of Saudi Arabia’s first island golf course located on Shura Island in The Red Sea. Expertly designed by the acclaimed Brian Curley, the par-72 course spans 7,400 yards and promises a unique coastal links experience that showcases the island’s native landscape.

Course Features

The course artfully winds through mangroves and dunes, flowing along the Red Sea shores. Special care was taken during its design to minimize environmental impact, embodying RSG’s commitment to sustainable tourism.

“The opening of Shura Links is a significant milestone in Saudi Arabia’s ambition for global leadership in sports and tourism,” said H.E. Yasir Al-Rumayyan, Chairman of Golf Saudi. “It aligns with the aspirations of Saudi Vision 2030, demonstrating our dedication to diversifying the economy and improving quality of life.”

The lively beachfront clubhouse is set to be a social hub for golfers and visitors, designed with inspiration from local flora. It delivers stunning views and includes dining, retail, and relaxation spaces.

“Shura Links sets a new standard for golf in the region,” remarked John Pagano, Group CEO of Red Sea Global. “It’s more than a golf course — it’s a community space to connect and appreciate the beauty of The Red Sea.”
