SAii Hotels & Resorts Introduces the Green Button Feature to Enhance Sustainability
SAii Hotels & Resorts has launched the Green Button feature in its app, enabling guests to make environmentally friendly choices effortlessly.
S Hotels & Resorts PLC’s SAii Hotels & Resorts has added a bold new feature to its mobile app: the Green Button.
The Green Button aims to transform everyday guest choices into significant environmental actions. According to Michael Marshall, the Chief Executive of S Hotels & Resorts:
“Sustainability should be simple, engaging and rewarding. The Green Button gives our guests a direct way to make a positive impact, from conserving water and energy during their stay to planting trees that will thrive for generations. It’s a small click with a big impact.”
This initiative emphasizes SAii Hotels & Resorts’ commitment to making sustainability straightforward, meaningful, and guest-driven. Additionally, it aligns with S Hotels & Resorts’ broader objectives of achieving carbon neutrality by 2030 and enhancing biodiversity by 30% within the same period.
The Green Button is available at several locations: SAii Phi Phi Island Village, SAii Laguna Phuket, and SAii Lagoon Maldives. It combines advanced technology with real-world sustainability efforts.
This feature will launch at SAii Koh Samui Villas in December.
What does it accomplish?
The Green Button allows guests to opt out of routine linen changes, which supports reforestation efforts at Singha Park in Chiang Rai through the Pleuk Pa Duay Plai New (Million Trees for Tomorrow) program by Singha Estate Group. Over the past three years, more than 1,000,000 square meters of land has been replanted.
By planting native species such as Rain Tree, Indian Cork, and Gurjan Tree, this program revives biodiversity and reinforces ecosystems for future generations. The digital platform also offers a streamlined experience with real-time impact tracking and measurable results, allowing guests to witness how their actions contribute to water conservation and biodiversity enhancement.
