Radisson Hotel Group Enhances Its Cambodian Presence with New Hotel & Suites

Radisson Hotel Group has signed a new property in Sihanoukville, Cambodia, further expanding its portfolio in the region.

Radisson Hotel Group has announced the signing of Radisson Hotel & Suites Bay of Lights Sihanoukville on September 23.

This new addition marks an exciting chapter in Radisson’s growth in Cambodia. Expected to begin operations in early 2029, this hotel will include 176 rooms located in the Gateway District, part of the visionary Bay of Lights mixed-use township on Cambodia’s southern coast.

Securing a prime location in the Bay of Lights International Convention Center (BICC) district allows the group to gain early advantages in development. According to Ramzy Fenianos, their Chief Development Officer:

“Sihanoukville is a hidden gem of Southeast Asia, offering a unique blend of coastal beauty and fast-growing economic opportunities. The signing of Radisson Hotel & Suites Sihanoukville underlines our commitment to expanding in Cambodia’s key destinations, complementing our pipeline in Phnom Penh.”

Radisson Hotel Group already has two hotels underway in Phnom Penh: Radisson Blu Phnom Penh and Radisson RED Phnom Penh, both expected to open in 2027.

This expansion will significantly bolster Radisson’s presence in Cambodia and the broader Southeast Asia Pacific region. The new hotel will provide a range of well-appointed rooms and serviced apartments, many featuring stunning ocean views. Additionally, it will include several dining options, a rooftop pool, a spa, and a fitness center.

Ideally positioned just five minutes from a private beach and close to the CBD, the property aims to service both business and leisure travelers. It is also conveniently located 25 minutes from Sihanoukville International Airport.

Surrounded by upscale amenities such as premium shopping outrights, duty-free options, and a golf course, this hotel stands to benefit from substantial infrastructure developments, including the planned relocation of the administrative center in 2026 and the expansion of the airport.
