Veteran Hoteliers Lead Quezon City’s New Alino Hotel

Philippine property developer Keyland Corporation has announced the appointment of a senior leadership team in preparation for the opening of its 20-story, 128-room boutique hotel, Alino Hotel.

Situated along E. Rodriguez Avenue in Quezon City, the Alino Hotel signifies a shift for Keyland, which previously specialized in residential and office developments. The hotel is slated to welcome guests in November 2025, targeting business travelers, medical visitors, and families in one of the city’s most dynamic commercial areas.

A Seasoned General Manager

Overseeing the hotel operations is General Manager Lady May Elegado, a well-versed hotelier with over 20 years of experience in both the Philippines and Malaysia. Her career includes significant roles at The Taaras Beach & Spa Resort, Berjaya Makati Hotel, and City Garden Grand Hotel, with expertise spanning from pre-opening to daily operations in various hotel categories.

An Expert in Food & Beverage

On the culinary team, Rexsan Abarquez will lead the food and beverage programs, including the hotel’s all-day dining venue, Kutchara. Abarquez also carries over two decades of culinary experience, having most recently served as Executive Sous Chef and Acting Executive Chef at Marco Polo Ortigas, with an impressive history at luxury establishments such as Conrad Manila and Sofitel Philippine Plaza.

The blend of global culinary techniques with local Filipino flavors will offer guests a unique dining experience.
