MIMARU Enhances Its Luggage Delivery Service Across Major Japanese Routes

MIMARU expands its luggage delivery service to cover the Tokyo-Osaka and Kyoto routes, allowing guests to conveniently drop off luggage in the morning and receive it by evening.

Cosmos Hotel Management Co, Ltd, which manages the MIMARU apartment hotel brand, has officially expanded the well-received Luggage Delivery by MIMARU service to include routes between Tokyo-Osaka and Kyoto. This service commenced on September 1st and has been operating for over a year, enabling users to drop off their luggage in the morning and collect it at their intended destination the same evening.

This service was initially limited to transporting luggage between airports and MIMARU sites in Tokyo and Osaka/Kyoto. It boasts a remarkable customer satisfaction rate of 96.1% and a delay rate of less than 0.1% from May 2024 to March 2025.

The high reliability of this service is attributed to Japanese standards: no luggage mishandling or lost items, and prompt delivery.

With this intercity expansion, tourists, especially families traveling on the popular “Golden Route,” can enjoy hassle-free journeys and minimize congestion in public transportation.

Approximately 90% of MIMARU guests are families with children, prompting the company to devise solutions for smoother multi-city travel.

Steps to Utilize the Service:

  1. Reserve online by 11:00 p.m. the day before;
  2. Drop off luggage at MIMARU front desks or selected airports in the morning;
  3. Receive belongings at your destination the same evening;
  4. Track deliveries via email updates with photo confirmation.

MIMARU intends to persist in expanding its intercity delivery routes and improving services to enhance comfort for families traveling across Japan.
