Delta is reinforcing its commitment to Central Texas by launching four new nonstop routes from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS), providing flight options to Denver (DEN), Columbus (CMH), Kansas City (MCI), and Miami (MIA). Furthermore, Delta is enhancing services on existing flights to San Francisco (SFO) and Indianapolis (IND).
New Nonstop Routes from Austin:
- Denver (DEN) – Starting November 9, 2025, with two daily flights through Delta Connection partner SkyWest.
- Miami (MIA) – One daily flight commencing November 22, 2025, using Delta’s Boeing 737-800.
- Columbus (CMH) – Daily service begins June 7, 2026, also operated by SkyWest.

The new flights will utilize the Embraer 175 aircraft, known for its quiet and comfortable interiors. Additionally, Delta will increase daily frequencies to San Francisco effective April 13, 2026, and expand service to Indianapolis, increasing flights from one to three a day starting June 7, 2026.
Delta’s focus on Austin is further shown, as it has transported over one million passengers to and from the city this year, marking a 12% increase from the previous year. Other service expansions are planned, including flights to Palm Springs, Cancun, and Cabo San Lucas in the coming months.
For travelers, Delta is promising improved convenience and a premium experience, confirming its position as Austin’s top global carrier. “This is fantastic news for the Lone Star State! Delta’s decision to open a flight attendant base in Austin will bring hundreds of good-paying jobs and support local businesses,” stated Senator Ted Cruz.
