Waldorf Astoria New York Unveils Newly Restored Grand Ballroom and Event Spaces

The Waldorf Astoria New York has revealed a stunning transformation of its Grand Ballroom and accompanying venues, once again serving as a hub for high-profile events.

Waldorf Astoria New York has opened its doors once again with a grand unveiling of the Grand Ballroom and other iconic event spaces, following a meticulous restoration. This esteemed venue in Manhattan now boasts nearly 43,000 square feet of state-of-the-art event space across 14 private rooms, ideal for weddings, galas, and corporate events.

The restoration preserves historical elements while integrating modern technologies, setting the stage for unforgettable occasions. According to Danny Hughes, President of Hilton Americas, “This ballroom will become the heart of New York’s social scene once more.”

The newly unveiled spaces include:

  • Grand Ballroom: A stunning three-story venue that can accommodate up to 1,500 guests, equipped with the latest sound and lighting systems.
  • Basildon Room: With a capacity for 190 guests, featuring restored artworks and a heritage design.
  • Astor Salon: A historically significant space restored to enhance natural light, suitable for up to 420 guests.

This transformation not only revives the hotel’s legacy but also positions it as a leader in luxury hospitality, showcasing an ambitious vision for the future.
