Qatar Airways Group has launched its annual safety and security awareness event focused on enhancing the culture of safety across all its operations.

Under the theme ‘It Begins With You and Continues With Me’, this initiative commenced earlier today at The Plaza Doha, led by Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, CEO of Qatar Airways Group.

The event is conducted in collaboration with several partners from Qatar, including the Ministry of Interior and Hamad Medical Corporation, and is backed by various divisions and subsidiaries of the Qatar Airways Group.

During his opening remarks, Engr. Al-Meer expressed gratitude for the support from Qatar Airways employees and partner organizations, emphasizing the significance of collaboration in promoting safety and security.

Engr. Al-Meer stated: “Collaboration remains the most important approach to advancing sustainable safety and security. Today’s partnership approach underscores our country’s shared vision and dedication to achieving a common goal of offering a safe and secure air transport network.”

The campaign features exhibition booths and offers engaging activities, including quizzes and competitions.

As a noteworthy mention, Qatar Airways has been recognized as the Skytrax 2024 World’s Best Airline, serving over 170 destinations from the premier Hamad International Airport.
