Expansion of Alaska Lounge Enhances Experience at Anchorage Airport

Alaska Airlines has renovated its lounge in Anchorage to double seating capacity and enhance passenger comfort.

Alaska Airlines has upgraded its lounge at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC) to elevate the passenger experience.

The airline’s announcement detailed how the renovation doubled the lounge’s capacity, adding enhanced seating and relaxation areas. The newly designed space is positioned at Concourse C, near gate C1, with a total expansion of 2,600 square feet, accommodating 140 seats.

New Features:

  • Food and Beverage Options: Seasonal dishes and premium beverages curated from the west coast. Espresso drinks made with locally sourced beans from Kaladi Brothers.
  • Local Art: The lounge will showcase a rotating selection of artworks from local artists, showcasing the essence of Alaska.
  • Comfort Amenities: Updated seating arrangements and increased power outlets to keep devices charged.

The renovations are part of Alaska Airlines’ $60 million investment aimed at enhancing services across Alaska. Future expansions include the opening of a larger lounge in Honolulu and additional locations in San Diego and Seattle by 2027.
