Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, marked its tenth anniversary on August 28th by hosting an exclusive event that featured a blessing ceremony, a nostalgic culinary journey, and captivating performances celebrating Balinese culture, culminating in a dazzling fireworks display. The resort also launched a coffee table book showcasing a decade of cherished memories.
General Manager Masanori Hosoya expressed gratitude for the past decade, emphasizing the resort’s commitment to preserving Balinese culture: “We are honored to celebrate ten years of creating unique journeys in this sacred land, your home at the ends of the earth.”
A Decade of Excellence
To commemorate this milestone, the resort introduced a special package themed A Decade of Excellence, featuring a variety of exclusive experiences that focus on traditional Balinese gastronomy, wellness practices, and sustainability initiatives, running from July 2025 to July 2026. Minimum stay requirements of five nights apply to access these unique offerings until May 31, 2026.
Guests can explore the beautiful Balinese countryside in a classic Volkswagen while visiting notable sites such as Tirtha Empul, an ancient temple known for its sacred water springs, and Gunung Kawi, a historical cliff-carved temple.
Exclusive Dining and Wellness Experiences
Among the culinary delights, guests can enjoy a ten-course meal at Kubu, a zero-waste fine dining establishment that prioritizes sustainable ingredients, and partake in personalized dining experiences in picturesque settings near the Ayung River or atop cliffs overseeing lush rice fields. The package also includes private yoga sessions and traditional Balinese healing treatments at the Mandapa Spa.
An Unforgettable Experience
The Mandapa Spa will also introduce the Celestial Massage, a treatment offered under the stars from now until December, complete with live Gamelan music and floral embellishments for an immersive experience. Meanwhile, the restaurant’s seasonal menu will highlight locally sourced and medicinal ingredients, promising meals that narrate the stories of the island’s rich cultural heritage.
In addition to these experiences, regular events will feature a Sunday brunch with traditional Indonesian cuisine, showcasing various local specialties, enhancing the cultural depth of guests’ stays.
