Indonesia Aims to Shine at ITB India 2025
Indonesia is preparing to make a significant impression at ITB India 2025, showcasing the essence of Wonderful Indonesia in Mumbai and beyond. The country’s tourism ministry aims to attract 800,000 Indian tourists this year, positioning Indonesia as a prime destination for leisure, culture, and wellness.
Ahead of the three-day event, Business Matching sessions were conducted by the Ministry in Kolkata on August 27 and in Bengaluru on August 29. During these meetings, 29 Indonesian sellers connected with Indian buyers to forge new partnerships and boost interest in Indonesian tourism products.
According to Dedi Ahmad Kurnia, “India is one of the fastest-growing outbound markets and our fifth-largest source of international arrivals. Through ITB India, we want to enhance Indonesia’s brand and keep our destinations at the forefront of Indian travelers’ minds.”
As predictions indicate that India’s outbound travel is set to reach 29 million international trips by 2025, Indonesia’s active participation in ITB India reinforces its dedication to becoming a favored choice for Indian tourists craving nature and culture.
