
Finnair Expands Summer Routes with New Destinations in Italy, Spain, and Greece for 2026
Finnair announces new flights to Catania, Florence, Valencia, and Kos starting March 2026, enhancing their European summer schedule.
Finnair is gearing up for summer 2026 by launching new services to popular destinations in Italy, Spain, and Greece for travelers looking for a European vacation. Starting March 31, 2026, the Nordic airline will operate flights from its Helsinki hub to:
- Catania: Located on the island of Sicily, thrice weekly flights will connect travelers with stunning sights including Mount Etna and the historical treasures of the baroque city.
- Florence: Two weekly flights will take passengers to the heart of Tuscany, where famous landmarks such as the Florence Cathedral and the Uffizi Gallery await.
- Valencia: Offering two weekly flights to this cultural gem, visitors can explore the dazzling City of Arts and Sciences as well as picturesque beaches.
- Kos: With scheduled flights twice a week, this island is perfect for travelers seeking sun, culture, and history.
These flights will operate through varying dates:
- Helsinki to Florence: April 2 to October 18
- Helsinki to Catania: March 31 to October 21
- Helsinki to Valencia: April 11 to October 24
- Helsinki to Kos: May 2 to October 24
