The city recorded 18,865,000 overnight stays, marking a 9% increase compared to 2023, surpassing the previous record set in 2019. Revenue for the January to November period reached EUR 1.2 billion, up 12% from the previous year.

Approximately 82% of these overnight stays were accounted for by visitors from abroad, with 798,000 bednights contributed by the UK.

In terms of overnight stays, Germany ranked highest with 3,462,000 stays, followed by Austria and the USA. Kettner noted that the USA led in revenue from five-star hotels.
