Lufthansa City Center International Partners with TPConnects as Official Technology Supplier

TPConnects teams up with Lufthansa City Center to enhance technology solutions for travel agencies worldwide.

TPConnects Technologies, a global leader in travel technology certified by IATA, has announced a significant partnership with Lufthansa City Center International (LCC), the largest independent travel agency network globally, with over 320 agencies spread across 109 countries outside of Germany. This partnership symbolizes both organizations’ commitment to nurturing growth and innovation within the travel sector.

The agreement establishes TPConnects as a preferred technology supplier for LCC, allowing the formal introduction of TPConnects alongside the Iris aggregator platform to agencies and partners worldwide. This provides global LCC agencies an opportunity to utilize Iris, enhancing their services and value delivery to clients amidst the ever-changing travel environment.

Agencies using the Iris platform can access a variety of airline services, covering traditional EDIFACT, Low-Cost Carriers (LCCs), and NDC-enabled airlines, all consolidated into one platform. This capability facilitates seamless air content shopping and servicing, ensuring the best fares and products are accessible to clients.

“This partnership with Lufthansa City Center marks an important step in extending our technology and expertise to one of the world’s leading agency networks,” said Eric Dumas, CEO of TPConnects Technologies. “Together, we aim to introduce new opportunities and digital advancements for travel sellers globally.”

“By selecting TPConnects as a preferred technology partner, we empower our global agency network with innovative solutions, relevant industry insights, and future-oriented commercial opportunities. This collaboration highlights our mutual goal of spearheading the digital transformation in the travel sector, setting new excellence standards, and ensuring sustainable growth for Lufthansa City Center agencies, all while adapting to the evolving demands of modern travelers,” noted Heiko Brix, Managing Director of Lufthansa City Center International GmbH.
