With a celestial godmother and a ship poised to dazzle, Royal Caribbean celebrated the launch of Star of the Seas during a spectacular naming event at Port Canaveral in Orlando, FL. Crew members, executives, and dedicated guests gathered at the AquaTheater of the new ship, where astronaut Kellie Gerardi imparted her blessings, ensuring the ship is safe for future vacationers.

The Dawn of a New Era

The naming ceremony marked a significant milestone for Royal Caribbean. Following the introduction of Icon of the Seas in Miami, Star will embark on ambitious seven-night journeys from Port Canaveral to exquisite locations in the Eastern and Western Caribbean, including stops at the beloved Perfect Day at CocoCay.

In the upcoming three years, more exciting experiences will unfold, such as the Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, launching in December 2025, and the Royal Beach Club Cozumel in 2026, alongside the innovative Perfect Day Mexico slated for Fall 2027.

Setting Sail for Family Fun

The first vacationers aboard Star of the Seas will embark on an unforgettable journey, featuring the record-setting Icon Class, which is designed to perfectly blend luxury and fun.

There will also be extensive dining options and breathtaking entertainment, ensuring that families create lasting memories together.
