Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings has announced the resignation of David Herrera as president of its flagship Norwegian Cruise Line.
According to the company’s recent filing, Herrera’s resignation took effect immediately, and NCLH is actively looking for a new president. Meanwhile, Harry Sommer, president and CEO of NCLH, will temporarily step in.
A Timely Change
In a statement, Sommer expressed gratitude for Herrera’s contributions to the company over the past two years.
“David Herrera has been a dedicated member of our leadership team, and we are grateful for his decade of contributions to NCL’s growth and success. We wish him the very best in his next chapter.”
Sommer is optimistic about working more closely with the NCL team to leverage future opportunities. He stated that the company is entering a transformative phase in its nearly 60-year journey.
