The Event Reinforces Vietnam’s Sustainable Tourism Vision

All set for early September, ITE HCMC 2025 reaffirms Vietnam’s strategic vision for sustainable tourism development, focusing not only on economic growth but also on preserving cultural, social, and environmental values.

The Expo encourages the creation of innovative tourism products and services that respond to the evolving expectations of international travelers, especially those seeking green, sustainable, and experiential journeys. By showcasing distinctive products and immersive experiences, ITE HCMC 2025 aims to solidify Vietnam’s place as an attractive destination in the global tourism market.

Expanding Global Connections via the International Buyers Programme

Recognized as “Asia’s Best Trade Show” at the 2024 World MICE Awards, ITE HCMC stands out as the only tourism expo in Vietnam with an International Buyers Program, vital for boosting international tourist arrivals to Vietnam.

Ho Chi Minh City is actively working to attract over 240 international hosted buyers, including travel companies and agencies from more than 32 nations for this year’s expo. As per recent reports, over 250 exhibiting companies and 240 hosted buyers have confirmed their participation, with notable participants including:

  • Oceania: Intrepid, Flight Centre Travel Group, Luxury Escapes
  • Europe: Exodus (UK), Travco Corporation (UK), DERTour (Germany)
  • Americas: Collette (US), G Adventures (US)
  • Asia: JTB Corp (Japan), Trip.com (China)

For the first time, leading global business travel companies such as FCM Travel and American Express Global Business Travel will be present, underscoring Ho Chi Minh City’s growing importance in business tourism. With recent expansions to include new areas, the city seeks to create a tourism triangle: City Break, Industrial Hub, and Coastal Ecotourism.

A Diverse Range of Events for Professionals

During the Expo, Vietnamese tourism businesses will participate in specialized activities designed for maximizing networking and experiential opportunities:

  • B2B Meetings: Pre-scheduled meetings tailored to maximize business exchanges.
  • FAM Trips: Offering buyers firsthand experiences in various destinations, enhancing understanding of Vietnam’s tourism products.

These activities reflect ITE HCMC 2025’s dedication to promoting Vietnam as a safe and sustainable destination amidst global green and digital transformations.
