TAP Air Portugal has signed a significant partnership with Revolut, a leading global fintech with over 60 million customers, including 11 million in the UK. This collaboration aims to integrate Revolut Pay, a swift, secure payment option for online transactions for customers in both the UK and Portugal.

Revolut Pay allows customers to book flights on the TAP Air Portugal website quickly, eliminating the need to input payment details each time. With a simple click on the Revolut Pay option during checkout, travelers can finalize their purchases securely via the Revolut app, utilizing biometrics or a passcode for protection.

This technology aims to enhance customer booking experiences by improving conversion rates and streamlining transactions. With Revolut, TAP Air Portugal will also be able to accept payments in multiple currencies, settling funds within 24 hours.

João Frias from TAP Air Portugal remarked, “We continually strive to improve our customer’s journeys, and modernizing payment processes is crucial in that endeavor. Partnering with Revolut enhances our digital transformation strategy, simplifying travel bookings for customers.”

As an added incentive, customers utilizing Revolut Pay through TAP Air Portugal will be eligible to earn up to 10 times more RevPoints until September 12, 2025, reward points redeemable for flights, stays, or experiences.
