Superstar Mahesh Babu, his wife and former Miss India, Namrata Shirodkar, along with their daughter Sitara Ghattamaneni, visited Cape Weligama for a family retreat, celebrating Sitara’s birthday at one of Sri Lanka’s most beautiful luxury resorts located on a scenic cliff.

A Relais & Châteaux property under the Resplendent Ceylon collection, Cape Weligama is known for its stunning crescent-shaped pool and views of the Indian Ocean.

The family trip was shared with Sitara’s close friends and relatives, who enjoyed playing Uno and indulging in delicious cuisine on the resort’s private Cove Beach while savoring the tranquil vibe of the island. Their days were filled with joy, laughter, and shared moments around the pool and cozy corners of the resort.

This resort recently underwent refurbishment in December 2024, allowing guests to enjoy innovative culinary experiences and updated facilities, including a new Forest School Kids Club where children engage in various nature-based activities.
