Embraer Airline Business Seminar in Asia Pacific

Embraer recently hosted its Asia Pacific edition of its Airline Business Seminar in Singapore, where it gathered airlines, financing community representatives, consultants, and aviation authorities from across the region from August 6 to 7, 2025.

This exclusive event offered a space for discussions on emerging trends within the Asia Pacific sub-regions, exploring new traveler patterns and the opportunities they present for airlines with aircraft like the E-Jets and E-Jets E2.

Raul Villaron, Vice President of Embraer Commercial Aviation in Asia Pacific, stated: “The APAC Embraer Airline Business Seminar featured robust discussions about the evolving strategies that airlines and the broader aviation industry are adopting to seize growth opportunities and improve yields in APAC – the world’s powerhouse of global aviation growth.”

This meeting was a continuation of Embraer’s deep engagement with the Asia-Pacific airline community, demonstrating how its smaller regional aircraft are facilitating airlines to unlock potential in the region by increasing connectivity and flight frequencies to underserved destinations.

In its latest market outlook from June 2025, Embraer predicts a global demand for 10,500 jets with fewer than 150 seats and turboprops over the next 20 years, with 3,390 units (~33.2%) expected from the Asia Pacific, including China.

With close to 200 E-Jets in operation across the Asia Pacific, including China, Embraer’s aircraft continue to excel, providing a reliable and efficient option. Fourteen airlines from seven countries utilize the E-Jets E2 series, which includes major carriers such as Scoot, All Nippon Airways, and Japan Airlines.

In August 2024, Virgin Australia ordered eight E190-E2s for its regional and charter services in Western Australia, while All Nippon Airways placed an order for 15 E190-E2s in 2025 with an option for five additional units. Both airlines are set to become the first operators of the E2s in their respective nations.
