
Scoot, the budget carrier of Singapore Airlines (SIA), has announced its new flight services to Chiang Rai in Thailand and Okinawa and Tokyo (Haneda) in Japan, set to launch progressively between December 2025 and March 2026, providing more travel choices for end-of-year vacationers.
Leslie Thng, CEO of Scoot, expressed excitement about this network expansion:

In addition, the upcoming increase in services to some cities will support stronger demand for air travel during the year-end and new year holiday periods. We will continue to look for opportunities to connect our customers to new travel experiences and memorable journeys with Scoot.”
Details of the New Routes:
- Chiang Rai, known for its breathtaking mountainous landscapes and rich Lanna heritage, will see five flights weekly starting January 1, 2026.
- Okinawa, famous for its beautiful beaches and unique cultural heritage, will have three weekly flights commencing December 15, 2025.
- Tokyo (Haneda) will be reachable with daily flights beginning March 1, 2026.
One-way economy fares start at:
- SGD 128 to Chiang Rai
- SGD 190 to Okinawa
- SGD 190 to Tokyo (Haneda)
Bookings are available now through Scoot’s website and app. In total, Scoot will operate 111 weekly flights to Thailand and 45 weekly flights to Japan, offering travel options to 76 destinations across 18 countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
Additionally, flight frequencies within the network will be increased to meet the expected demand during the holiday periods.
