Princess Cruises is poised to set a milestone with its most extensive Japan season ever in 2027.
Itineraries will operate from Tokyo using two Japanese-built sister ships, the Diamond Princess and Sapphire Princess, for the entire season.
This program, a significant achievement in the brand’s Asian legacy, will offer 78 departures across 50 distinct itineraries, with voyages ranging from 7 to 28 days, marking Princess’s most substantial deployment in Japan to date. The 2027 season is slated for March to December, with sales opening on August 20, 2025.
Princess Cruises’ President Gus Antorcha noted, “This upcoming 2027 season is more than an expansion: it’s a homecoming. Our story in Japan has evolved over time, and in 2027, we return to promise unforgettable experiences, such as the famous Cherry Blossoms, seven vibrant festivals, and journeys that immerse you in the awe of this destination.”
