Qatar Airways announces the introduction of new flights connecting Doha with Bogotá and Caracas, marking significant expansion in the Americas.
Qatar Airways proudly announces its latest expansion into the Americas with the launch of two new weekly flights connecting Hamad International Airport in Doha to Bogotá El Dorado International Airport in Colombia and continuing to Caracas Simon Bolivar International Airport in Venezuela. These flights will begin in early summer 2025.
This new service marks Qatar Airways as the first airline to offer non-stop flights from the Middle East to Colombia and is the only Middle Eastern carrier operating flights to Venezuela. With these additions, Qatar Airways now has a total of 16 destinations in the Americas, including major cities like Dallas, Miami, New York City, São Paulo, and Toronto.
The new routes will be operated by Boeing 777-200LR aircraft, featuring 42 Business Class seats and 234 Economy Class seats, providing convenient access for travelers from two of South America’s busiest cities to the Middle East and beyond.
“The launch of flights to Bogotá and Caracas marks a transformative moment for Qatar Airways and for travelers to South America. We are creating new opportunities to connect people, cultures, and commerce,” stated Badr Mohammed Al-Meer. He further emphasized the airline’s commitment to pioneering travel experiences and redefining global connectivity.
These flights are expected to be available for booking shortly.
