Okada Manila’s operating firm, Tiger Resort, Leisure and Entertainment, Inc (TRLEI), announced an important leadership change on August 7th. Effective September 15, Universal Entertainment Corporation’s senior executive, Nobuki Sato, will replace Byron Yip as TRLEI’s president and chief operating officer.

Having held the position for seven years, Yip is set to move on while still managing daily operations during the transition period. Sato, who has been part of the TRLEI Board of Directors since March 2023, brings over 20 years of expertise in hospitality, finance, and strategic operations.

This transition highlights TRLEI’s dedication to operational excellence and long-term value creation. Tomohiro Okada, the president of Universal Entertainment Corporation, praised Yip’s leadership in establishing Okada Manila as a premier destination, recognized by the prestigious Forbes 5-Star rating.
